Hospitalist Needed in Washington Locum Hospitalist needed in Washington, near Spokane International Airport, for full-week 24-hour coverage blocks, including patient rounding and offsite call Highlights Credentialing support for 7/7 start 24-hour shifts with minimal overnight call volume Critical procedures covered by CRNA Practice Setting 15-bed acute facility with additional swing and OB beds Daily hospital census averages 7 patients Subspecialty support from CRNA, OB, ED, and surgery Schedule 7-day blocks - 24-hour shifts from 7a to 7a Round in the morning and pager call coverage remainder of shift Dates still available in September Cases and Procedures Paracentesis and thoracentesis required Backup for OB newborn care (OB on call 24/7) No ICU, no vent management, intubation rarely required Requirements Board certified or board eligible within 5 years in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Washington license required ACLS and ATLS skills expected; must support ED in trauma/code scenarios Minimum 12 months experience Travel Accommodations Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage all reimbursed Continuity of care is key - ideal for physicians open to covering multiple full weeks.
