Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 yearly Responsibilities: Cost Allocation: Assigning costs to various jobs or projects, ensuring that all direct and indirect expenses are correctly recorded. Data Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for cost control, and providing insights to management for decision-making. Job Costing Reports: Preparing detailed reports on job costs, including comparison of actual versus estimated costs, to help project managers monitor and control expenses. Invoice Verification: Ensuring that invoices for materials, labor, and subcontractors are accurate and properly allocated to the right jobs or projects. Collaboration : Working closely with project managers to ensure that project costs are tracked in real time and that financial data is accurate. Compliance: Ensuring all job cost accounting activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting or related field (essential). 5 years of Cost Accounting work experience (essential). Sound understanding of accounting principles. Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
