Job Description: We are seeking experienced and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a 13-week travel assignment in Massachusetts. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where quick thinking, clinical expertise, and teamwork are essential. The ideal candidate will be skilled in acute care, trauma response, and emergency procedures, and will provide top-tier care to patients of all ages. Roles and Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent health conditions Rapidly assess and prioritize patients based on acuity using triage protocols Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions Administer medications, start IVs, and manage advanced life support as required Perform or assist in diagnostic procedures (e.g., EKGs, wound care, blood draws) Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, techs, and other staff to ensure quality patient care Respond to emergency codes and trauma alerts efficiently and effectively Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records Adhere to all safety, infection control, and clinical protocols Support patient education and communicate with patients’ families regarding care plans. Skills: Emergency patient triage and rapid clinical assessment Proficient in IV insertion, medication administration, wound care, and lab draws Expertise in managing trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and pediatric emergencies Accurate documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) Skilled in the use of emergency equipment such as defibrillators, crash carts, and oxygen delivery systems Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking under pressure Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams Please submit your resume to harshit.sharma(at)medcadre.com or Call 949-404-4671.
