This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic clinical team dedicated to delivering quality care across a diverse patient population. About the Role As a multi-specialty RN, you will deliver care to patients across medical-surgical, postpartum, and pediatric units. Flexibility and recent clinical experience in all three specialties are essential, as the unit also cares for medical-surgical patients due to low birth volumes. Key Responsibilities Provide bedside nursing care for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and postpartum patients Perform fundal checks, IV and NG tube placements, and other essential procedures Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary staff Float to other Med Surg units as required Accurately document in MedHost and Centricity Perinatal EHR systems Uphold infection control, safety standards, and hospital protocols Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in Med Surg, Postpartum, and Pediatrics (in that order of priority) Certifications: BLS (required) PALS (required) NRP and ACLS (preferred) Skills: Strong IV and NG tube placement, postpartum assessment experience Unit Info Beds: 14 Patient Ratio: 1:5–6 Population: Geriatric, Adult, Pediatric, Postpartum Common Diagnoses: Bowel obstruction, hip fracture, cholelithiasis, appendicitis, postpartum care Ideal Candidate We’re seeking a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional unit and brings a positive, collaborative attitude to patient care.
