Job Description & Requirements Neurological Surgery Physician StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Call 24;On Call Pay Rate: $339.50 - $367.50 This facility is seeking a Neurological Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details & requirements for this opportunity: 24-hour call shifts Level II Trauma Center Required procedures: Surgical repair for head trauma, Surgical repair of defects or deformity of the skull, Surgery for cervical & thoracic/lumbar spine or able to recognize and manage with backup or for referral, manage, call back-up, and/or make a referral, Surgical and non-surgical management of injuries involving the peripheral nerves, and Interpretation of appropriate diagnostic imaging studies. Credentialing Timeframe: 0 to 30 days Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner Care B Certifications Required: Board Eligible or Board-Certified Neurosurgery, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Licensure Required: California license at the time of submission Facility Location Redding is a city located off Interstate 5 and between the Canadian and Mexican borders. The Sacramento River also goes through this city.
