This is a 14-week contracted position ideal for a candidate who brings both clinical expertise and a strong focus on patient safety and infection control. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention strategies Conduct routine surveillance and reporting of infection data Educate staff on infection control practices and compliance Monitor effectiveness of implemented protocols and initiate corrective actions when needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain the highest standards of care Requirements: Proven experience in long-term care settings Proficiency with Genesis and/or PointClickCare (PCC) systems Strong knowledge of CDC, OSHA, and CMS regulations pertaining to infection control Excellent communication and organizational skills Current RN license or equivalent clinical credentials (preferred depending on state requirements) Proven experience in long-term care settings.
