Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/26/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) assists in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. The CST ensures the operating room is safe, equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential by NBSTSA or NCCT (depending on employer requirements). BLS certification (required). Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team. Effective communication and teamwork.
