Travel Nurse RN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: 26-week assignment available. Traveler may request a contract longer than the standard 13 weeks. Unit assignments will be determined based on facility needs after clinical evaluation. Currently, the patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5 in the Progressive Care Unit, with a goal of 1:4. All travelers are expected to float as needed within their acuity. Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment. During winter holidays, travelers are required to work two holidays. Compliance documents are due by Wednesday prior to the Monday start date. Travelers residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local candidates. Local candidates are not accepted. Previous travelers must have been gone for a minimum of one year before returning. Facility does not allow travelers to return after working on assignment for 365 days. Exceptions to this policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Modules are non-billable if completed within the first 24 hours. 5 hours for orientation modules and 2 hours for Epic training are allowed. Modules can be completed pre-start or during orientation. Hours may vary based on specialty and will be recorded by facility report.
