The role requires at least one year of clinical experience in ED nursing, certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC, and involves 12-hour evening shifts over a 26-week assignment. The nurse will work in a busy emergency setting with variable patient ratios and use EPIC for charting. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/04/2025 Duration: 26 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Total of Facility Beds: 341 Unit Name: ECC / ER Total of Unit Beds: 29 bed ED, 4 bed BDU Behavioral Health, 7 bed FT (Fast Track) all beds can swing to ER beds Trauma Level: Level 3 Charting Required: EPIC Minimum Years Clinical Experience Required: 1 year Minimum Years Clinical Experience in Specialty Required: 1 year Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Requires TNCC Nurse Patient Ratio by shift: 1:5 sometimes higher based on volume. * Need RNs that can work with higher than 1:4 ratios/ in a Very busy community setting. If RN has only worked with 1:4 types of ratios in their exp, this may not be the best match, as census changes frequently here.
