This assignment offers a rewarding mix of in-house daytime coverage and off-site call at night, within a well-supported closed ICU environment. This is an excellent opportunity for critical care physicians seeking flexible scheduling and the ability to practice at the top of their license in a collaborative team setting. Opportunity Snapshot Facility Overview Regional Medical Center (200 Beds) 12-Bed Closed ICU Average Daily ICU Census: 13 Patients EMR: Cerner APP Team Support: Yes – Minimal Supervision Required Assignment Details Schedule: In-House: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Off-Site Call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Coverage Dates: July 27 – August 7 (7a Start – 7a End) September 15–16 (24-hour coverage) Shift Commitment: Minimum 1 week preferred, recurring coverage welcome Credentialing: Emergency Privileges Available (Clean File Required) – 30–45 Days Practice Details ICU Only – No Clinic or Floor Work Procedures: Standard Critical Care (intubations, central lines, vent management, etc.) APP Support: Nurse Practitioners on-site with minimal oversight needed Candidate Requirements Board Certification: Pulmonary Critical Care Licensure: Active Iowa License or IMLC (LOQ in Hand) Certifications: ACLS, DEA, CSR Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience preferred Why Rhino Medical?
