Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Medical Stepdown RN (IMCU) – Night Shift Shifts: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights Location: Tertiary Care Hospital | 528 Staffed Beds Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) | 26 Beds Job Description: We are seeking experienced and adaptable RNs to join the Medical Stepdown (IMCU) unit on night shifts. The IMCU is a critical care step-down unit caring for adult patients requiring more intensive monitoring than a general medical-surgical floor. Patients are commonly transferred from the ICU, PACU, ED, or med-surg units. Nurses will manage patients requiring telemetry, continuous pulse-oximetry, airway management, BIPAP, arterial and central line care, and titrated IV medication infusions. Candidates must demonstrate clinical vigilance, teamwork, and compassion in a fast-paced environment.
