Job Description

Medical Degree either a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) Candidate must have current, unrestricted, NY State license or NYS Licensure in progress and active on date of hire with an active NYS DEA certificate Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA general surgery residency program Board Eligible or Certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery with fellowship New and recent Graduates encouraged to apply BLS/ACLS Certifications Responsibilities
Team-building leadership style with the oncology, digestive health services, and women’s health services programs Perform colorectal surgeries utilizing advanced robotic, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive techniques Participate in a team-oriented approach to patient care with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered outcomes Collaborate with a group of surgeons and APPs to manage inpatient care and call coverage Contribute to the growth and development of the colorectal surgery service line Engage with a strong network of primary care providers for referrals and continuity of care Catholic Health
