Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Adult Job Details: • Provide professional nursing care through application of nursing skills and processes • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans • Serve as primary caregiver providing direct patient care • Work collaboratively with care team members, physicians, and patient/family to achieve optimal outcomes • Make independent decisions and collaborate with others regarding patient care • Float to similar units and may float to other locations including Adena Greenfield, Adena Pike, and Adena Fayette • Floating assignments will be to similar acuity or lower level acuity than primary assignment • Work every other weekend • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS • Must reside outside a 60 mile radius • Work under direct supervision of Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of Director of Nursing • Handle confidential patient information with appropriate discretion Facility: This healthcare organization is committed to providing comprehensive medical care with a mission to care, heal, and educate.
