Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 52 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract MRI Technologist – Direct Placement | Full-Time Boston,MA Position Summary We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a direct placement, full-time position at a brand-new facility . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team in a supportive environment. In this role, you will perform routine MRI procedures on a scheduled and emergency basis while ensuring patient safety and following departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity Workflow Expectations. Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate requisitions for MRI procedures, abstracting data from patient charts, and confirming appropriateness based on diagnosis and clinical signs. Select proper equipment and technical parameters to differentiate between normal and pathological anatomy. Assess patients’ (and parents’) physical and emotional readiness and develop tailored care plans. Clearly explain MRI examinations and answer questions from patients and families regarding the exam and magnetic field environment. Create a supportive and safe atmosphere for patients and families, responding to each patient’s unique needs. Minimum Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree in Allied Health Licensure/Certification: Current MA Radiologic Technologist license for MRI MRI registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), to be completed within 18 months of hire Must successfully complete and maintain ARRT certification BLS certification Experience: Minimum 1 year of MRI experience (Pediatric experience is a plus) Direct Placement, Full-Time – Join a team committed to long-term success Brand-New Facility – Be part of an exciting new chapter in patient care Work-Life Balance – No weekend shifts required About Medasource Here at Medasource, the heartbeat of healthcare meets boundless opportunities!
