Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Unit Info : Unit : SONU (Ortho/Neuro/Surg), Med-Surg Charting : Epic Trauma Level : II Certifications Required : BLS, NIHSS Orientation : 2–3 unit-specific shifts Key Details : Drip Management : Heparin, Ketamine (set rate), antibiotics, blood products IV Management : Frequent IVs Telemetry : Monitor techs present, but telemetry experience preferred Support Staff : Charge nurse (non-assigned to patients) CNA ratios ~1:8–12; some CNA II staff assist with IV/Foley removal Respiratory Equipment : BiPAP, CPAP, nasal cannulas Scheduling & Expectations : Shift Time : 06:45–19:15 Self-scheduling : Allowed with flexibility Weekends : 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period Holidays : Some required On-call : Possible for low census Floating : To Med, Med-Onc, and Tele units (cardiac drips) COVID Care : Required Scrubs : Navy blue with CRMC logo Magnet Facility : Stroke and bariatric certifications Cancellations : Max 2 per 13-week contract Precepting : Opportunities available BSN Required : No
