A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Adult Job Details: • Work night shift with 13-week contract duration • Scheduled 36 hours per week following first full week of orientation • Must be flexible with various shift lengths and different days • No guarantee of hours or shift preference • Nurse to patient ratio: 1:6 for days and evenings, 1:8 for nights • 2-10 years of experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment • May float to Laulima Unit and Cardiovascular Unit • Work with medical unit equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes • Provide general medical surgical nursing duties • Professional nursing attire dress code required • Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start • Orientation program provided for each unit Facility: This healthcare facility features a comprehensive medical surgical unit with 77 beds, providing acute care services to adult patients.
