Responsibilities Work in various ICU units including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, and Neuro ICU at a Level 1 Trauma Center May float to med-surg units as needed to support staffing Shift schedule is three 12-hour day shifts (7:00am–7:30pm) per week, with no block scheduling allowed Every other weekend (2 weekends per month) is required Floating between units and facilities is mandatory, with notification possible up to 2 hours before shift; may float up to 50 miles from primary facility Uses Cerner EMR system Navy blue scrubs required (not provided) Mandatory orientation and precepting will be provided during the first week on day shift Team-based model is used if floated outside primary competency area Strict compliance with documentation and scheduling requirements is enforced Maximum of 5 days requested time off allowed per contract, no more than 2 consecutive days; no weekend or holiday RTO approved Holiday coverage required with no RTO the day before or after a holiday Parking is available for $2/day with shuttle service provided First-time travelers will be considered Requirements Active IL RN license in hand (no pending licenses accepted) Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ICU experience required Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must provide proof of COVID vaccination prior to start Candidates must live within a 75-mile radius to be eligible for local consideration Must be able to complete lab work within 72 hours of accepting assignment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P- .
