Since 1984, we’ve grown into one of the largest printers in the Pacific Northwest, employing 150 team members across print, direct mail, and graphic design services.

We’re currently looking for an experienced Press Operator to join our Portland team and play a key role in delivering high-quality print production.

Position Overview As a Press Operator , you will be responsible for operating Coldset and Heatset Web Offset presses , ensuring efficient production, top-tier print quality, and adherence to safety standards.

You’ll also help lead press crew activities to meet daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Coldset and Heatset web offset printing presses Perform make-readies and maintain consistent press performance Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments Conduct routine quality control checks throughout production Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and standards Assist in coordinating and directing press crew workflow Maintain a clean and organized work environment Support production deadlines, including overtime when needed Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience operating multi-web, four-color coldset and/or heatset offset presses Strong understanding of press operations, troubleshooting, and print quality standards Commitment to workplace safety and following established guidelines Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly Basic English communication skills Willingness to work overtime as needed Why Join Signature Graphics?
