Job Description Job Description Packard Claims Administration is a fast paced and growing TPA handing Workers' Compensation claims looking for a Workers' Comp Lost Time Claims Examiner with 2 years litigation experience.
Responsibilities
Must have and maintain Florida Adjuster license (620 All Lines License) Determine coverage, compensability and potential for subrogation recovery on assigned claims Ability to investigate claims with little supervision ranging from simple to more complex Communication timely with appropriate parties involved in claims per company policies Responsible for setting, maintaining and adjusting reserves for the life of the claim Work with in-house nursing team to develop and execute return to work strategies Document and execute action plans to bring claims to final resolution Negotiate claims for settlement within desk authority Knowledge of Jurisdictional requirements to ensure timely denial and/or payment of benefits Maintain continuing education requirements for assigned jurisdictions Keep up to date on case laws for each assigned jurisdiction Obtain extensive knowledge of assigned claims for preparation of possible depositions and/or mediations Act in accordance with company policies and procedures Qualifications
High school diploma 2 or more years related claims experience required Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled Extensive knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices Computer experience with related claims and business software WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER APPLY TODAY.
