Job Description Job Description Labor & Employment Associate Labor & Employment Associate Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Labor & Employment Associate to join our dynamic legal team.
The ideal candidate will assist in providing comprehensive legal support in various labor and employment matters, helping clients navigate complex employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities Assist in handling wage and hour claims, including class actions and PAGA lawsuits.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents related to employment litigation.
Support senior attorneys in litigation matters involving single plaintiff employment disputes.
Provide advice and counsel to clients on compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Participate in the discovery process and prepare for depositions.
Represent clients in mediation and settlement negotiations.
Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Barred in CA 3 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation.
Strong understanding of wage and hour laws, class actions, and PAGA.
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
