Job Description Job Description Production Planner An innovative aerospace and advanced manufacturing organization, is seeking a motivated Production Planner to support and strengthen production operations.
This company specializes in highly engineered systems and precision components supporting cutting-edge technologies and mission-critical applications.
The Production Planner will be responsible for optimizing material usage, managing production schedules, evaluating supplier performance, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
This role will also monitor material flow, identify shortages or bottlenecks, and implement solutions to maintain efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain actionable production plans and finite-capacity schedules in alignment with production teams.
Convert demand forecasts into Manufacturing Orders and clear workflows for production personnel.
Coordinate with Program Management and production teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust floor activity schedules.
Participate in forecasting meetings with Operations, Inventory, Finance, Shipping, and Purchasing teams.
Serve as a key liaison between departments to support the manufacturing of conforming products.
Coordinate with Inventory and Procurement teams to ensure timely ordering of materials to meet deadlines.
Work closely with Engineering teams to review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and release dates to initiate procurement activities.
Engage with vendors for part quotations and support cost-saving initiatives.
Maintain strong working relationships across multiple departments and leadership levels.
Support key performance indicators related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost by adjusting plans and improving execution stability.
Required Qualifications 7 years of production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing experience.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
Costpoint or NetSuite experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and strong commitment to data accuracy.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Experience Experience managing multiple concurrent production programs.
Procurement or purchasing experience is a plus.
Ability to track daily production progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
Strong collaboration skills across production, warehouse, engineering, and operations teams.
Proven ability to maintain accurate and current project deliverables.
Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary range
$33.00-48.00 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional Requirements This role may require eligibility to work on projects subject to U.S. government export control regulations, including ITAR compliance.
