Parts Inventory Clerk

Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY

This person will be responsible for Parts Inventory on the second shift, plus other tool shop duties including cycle counts, ensuring MWO are closed and help locate parts for mechanics.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Sort & maintain parts by machine/department. · Update any incorrect parts descriptions, part numbers and suppliers in FasTrak. · Work closely with engineering group to make sure we have parts numbers and drawings for all parts. · Prepare parts for annual PM and/or shut down PM. · Receive, unpack and store incoming tools and parts · Mark and identify tools and parts using departmental I.D. system · Alert Materials Control Coordinator of low inventory levels · Inventory Cycle Counts; Compare with BOM parts list · Organize and maintain stock rooms and mezzanine · Research/Document special order requests · Submit orders for approval · Revise PO via confirmation and send it for approval · Comply with all personnel and safety policies as outlined in our employee handbook · Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor POSITION REQUIREMENTS

· English Literate and High School graduate · Proficient math skills · Industrial parts aptitude/mechanical ability · Familiar with shop tools and measuring devices · Familiar with inventory procedures & cycle counts · Basic computer knowledge (Outlook & Excel; MRP software knowledge a plus) · At least two years’ experience in a maintenance shop (preferred) · Self-initiative and requiring little direct supervision Company Description Crown Poly, Inc. was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA (Huntington Park).
