6/1/2026 About the Position Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac surgical procedures.
You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment, and providing support to the surgical team during cases.
Minimum Requirements
Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent.
BLS certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
Cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) functional area experience required.
Candidate must be a CVOR FA.
Experience working in hospital-based operating room settings.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional perioperative certifications or specialty training relevant to cardiac surgery preferred.
Experience with cardiac surgical instrumentation and sterile processing preferred.
