Job Description
We are seeking a ServiceNow Technical Product Manager to lead the end-to-end development and management of the ServiceNow platform.
This role involves close collaboration with IT, Operations, and Business stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and prioritize feature development.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ServiceNow, Agile product ownership, and ITSM frameworks, and will help drive strategic platform enhancements that deliver value across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Ownership: Serve as the primary technical contact for the ServiceNow platform, aligning platform capabilities with business processes and strategic goals.
- Requirement Gathering: Engage stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements; translate them into actionable user stories.
- Feature Prioritization: Collaborate with development teams and Agile Delivery Managers to prioritize backlog items based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a product roadmap aligned with organizational strategies and milestones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IT, Operations, and other departments to ensure platform development supports broader business objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Define acceptance criteria and conduct testing to ensure reliability and quality of new features.
- Change Management: Support smooth rollouts through training, documentation, and implementation support.
- Platform Optimization: Monitor platform performance and implement best practices for efficiency and scalability.
- Innovation: Stay current with ServiceNow trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance platform capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, functionalities, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM concepts.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as a Product Owner.
- Skilled in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
- Ability to align platform development with ITSM best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with platform governance and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with strategic planning and roadmap alignment (e.g., PSE 2030 strategy).
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist).
