What You Will BringA recognised teaching qualification in line with ES Circular 01/12Experience delivering Essential Skills ICT or related accredited digital qualificationsStrong digital confidence and the ability to make skills relevant to real workplacesEffective behaviour management and clear lesson structuringGCSEs (A–C) or Level 2 Essential Skills in Maths and EnglishCommitment to safeguarding and complianceProfessionalism, punctuality and accountabilityA Day in the RoleA typical day begins with reviewing session objectives and ensuring your lesson aligns to the Essential Skills framework.

In the classroom, you set expectations early and link digital tasks to workplace reality.

You support learners at different starting points while keeping standards high.

After teaching, you update learner records, review progress and prepare your next session.

This role requires clarity, organisation and consistent delivery.

It is highly rewarding when learners gain the confidence to use digital skills in real employment.
