Structural Engineer

Henneman Engineering is looking for a Mid-level Structural Engineer to join our Champaign, Illinois office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in overall design and engineering of structural systems for projects as assigned throughout construction phase.
• Visit job sites to conduct structural inspections, verifications, and progress evaluations.
• Coordinate system layout and drawings with other disciplines; work as part of a multidisciplinary project team(s).
• Prepare contract documents, technical specifications, reports, structural cost estimates, and other relevant documents.
• Review and act upon RFIs, submittals, and other construction-related documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited University
• 5-10 years of experience performing structural engineering work in a design and consulting engineering firm like ours
• Professional Engineer / Structural Engineer license is highly preferred
