Wedding & Events Planner
Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Wedding & Events Planner to join our team at Peligoni.This is a dynamic, guest-facing role working closely with the Senior Events Manager, combining sales, planning, and on-the-ground delivery.
You will be responsible for managing weddings and private events from initial enquiry through to execution, with a strong focus on converting enquiries into bookings and driving event revenue.Based in London, you will play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional experiences.
During the summer season, you will spend extended periods (up to 12 weeks) in Zakynthos supporting and leading the execution of weddings and private events on-site.Key Responsibilities Weddings & Private EventsProactively handle wedding & private events enquiries & calls with confidence and energy, taking a driven, results-focused approach to convert enquiries into bookingsTake ownership of event documentation, including look & feel presentations, timelines, and function sheetsCoordinate all guest logistics, including RSVPs, travel, accommodation, and schedulesManage supplier coordination, communication, and logisticsOversee budgets, invoices, and payment tracking, ensuring accuracy and timely processingSupport and contribute to the successful on-site delivery of events, including setup and de-rigSpecial Events Support budget tracking and post-event reconciliationAssist with marketing coordination, including guest communications and event materialsSupport contributor sourcing, onboarding, and ongoing logisticsCoordinate contributor travel, accommodation, and schedulingAssist with event planning and on-the-ground deliveryGeneralMaintain accurate and up-to-date records across all eventsAct as a key point of coordination between internal teams (Sales, Guest Relations, F&B, Operations)Ensure smooth execution and consistently high standards across all eventsWork closely with the Senior Events Manager to support both sales performance and delivery standardsEssential Requirements & Personal AttributesMinimum 2 years’ experience in luxury weddings and eventsA self-starter who thrives when given ownership and responsibilityProven experience handling enquiries and converting them into bookingsStrong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and/or revenue targetsConfident working directly with clients in a premium environmentHighly organised with exceptional attention to detailExcellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyConfident communicator with strong interpersonal skillsSalary & BenefitsStarting from £35,000 per annum, plus 10% bonus opportunity33 days holiday including bank holidaysDiscounts across the Peligoni portfolioAnnual Sand & Stone stayEmployee Assistance ProgrammeTo ApplyPlease send your CV and covering letter to
