As a result of their growth nationally, the opportunity to join this exciting, motivated and inclusive company (who are passionate about ensuring its core values,) they are currently looking to recruit a qualified solicitor or CILEX to join them on a permanent basis at their Sheffield City Centre office.

They are looking for someone with experience of working within the family law sector who has the required IT, communicative and practical skills and who are interested in progressing their career in one of the most dynamic law firms in the country.Key Tasks and Responsibilities· Efficient, confident and an excellent communicator who is able to clearly and concisely advise clients, as well as communicate with your colleagues to share ideas and progress cases, with a view to providing excellent and accurate legal advice to achieve the best outcome for your clients.· An understanding in terms of the importance of excellent client care, with a desire and the clear ability to manage and meet/exceed client expectations, including exercising professional judgment, using research, problem-solving and considering best interests of your clients.· To undertake responsibility for and run your own fee-earning work (both litigated and non-litigated) to provide a profitable contribution to the firm within company procedures and guidelines, whilst under continuous review by a superior.
In addition, you are to maintain financial control of your own caseload/cash flow through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.· To assist senior fee earners on complex financial remedy and private children cases, showing initiative and helping to progress cases. · At least 1 years PQE in the provision of all aspects of private family law, to include divorce/dissolution, financial remedy, pre and post-nuptial agreements, Schedule 1 (if possible), cohabitation and Children Law.· Professional and friendly on all levels and at all times and have the ability to meet the high expectations and strong and productive relationship building skills expected.· Excellent communication skills with respect to business development/networking externally and/or being involved in local groups and societies, and day to day with your colleagues internally, with a view to growing/marketing and increasing awareness of the new office(s).· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.· Self-motivated, with a flexible attitude to work and time, together with strong ability to prioritise caseload and deadlines.· Ability to ensure the confidentiality of the firm’s and client’s documentation and information.· Contribute positively to departmental/firm-wide activities.· To comply with the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct at all times.· To carry out any other duties as and when required whenever reasonably instructed.· Knowledge of Microsoft packages, to include Word, Outlook and Excel and so contribute positively to relevant training as required.MiscellaneousThis role enables you to be based primarily at Hall Brown’s Sheffield City Centre office, with the ability to travel and work out of our other office as and when required.
