Editorial Content lawyer (TV, film, print or audio) (Consultant lawyer role)Location
London/Regions/Global/Flexible/RemoteReviewed & Cleared, the UK's largest collective of specialist editorial content lawyers and associated services, including business affairs and drama clearances, is expanding.We are seeking an experienced Pre-Publication Consultant to advise across a range of media including TV and film.
You will be able to provide clear, pragmatic advice to a range of media production clients including programme makers, broadcasters, podcast producers and print publishers about their editorial content.
You will be at senior lawyer level with a practical working knowledge of the following core areas:DefamationPrivacy and misuse of private informationRegulatory codes and industry guidelines, including the Ofcom Broadcasting CodeCopyrightContempt of court and reporting restrictionsIn-house experience with a broadcaster or publisher is advantageous but not essential.
