Global Supply Chain Director (Relocation & Global Mobility)
Job Description
Our client, a global relocation service provider is looking to hire an experienced Global Supply Chain Director (Relocation & Global Mobility) to work remotely in the UK.This role focuses on building and optimising a high-performing network of suppliers, ensuring seamless service delivery, strong vendor partnerships, and continuous improvement across the global mobility supply chain.
You will act as the key point of contact for all supplier-related matters, driving performance, scalability, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Manage supplier and vendor management across a global relocation and mobility supply chain (including destination services, immigration, corporate housing, household goods moving)Source, select and onboard new suppliers including negotiating and agreeing pricingMonitor supplier performance in line with KPIs and service delivery objectivesDevelop and execute supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global mobility programme goalsManage complex, multi-region supplier networks, driving service quality, cost control, and complianceAct as the primary stakeholder contact and SME for all supply chain and vendor-related mattersLead and support RFPs, procurement activities, and supplier selection processesEstablish and maintain strong supplier relationships, including contract management and negotiationDrive continuous improvement and process optimisation across the global mobility and relocation supply chainProvide regular reporting and insights on supplier performance, service delivery, and operational effectivenessManage and resolve complex supplier and operational issuesSupport training and capability development across internal teams and supplier partnersKey Requirements:Proven experience working in the global mobility, relocation, or corporate housing industriesStrong background in supply chain, vendor management, and supplier managementExperience managing global, multi-supplier networks in a complex, client-facing environmentDemonstrated experience leading RFPs, procurement, and supplier strategy initiativesStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at a senior levelCommercially focused, with experience driving cost efficiencies and service improvementsConfident user of Microsoft Tools including Excel and Powerpoint.
Experience using PowerBI or Service Now will be an advantageExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsHighly organised, self-motivated, and results-drivenStrong analytical capability, with experience using data to drive decisionsWillingness to travel as required
