Project Design Engineer

Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring in a Project Design Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming projects.This is a varied role combining mechanical design and project involvement, where you’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively from initial stages through to completion.What you’ll be doing:Producing 2D and 3D CAD designs using Inventor, AutoCAD or similarCreating technical drawings and documentation suitable for manufactureSupporting projects from concept through to completionLiaising with internal teams, suppliers, and clientsContributing to design reviews and continuous improvementSupporting project delivery and on-site activities where requiredWhat we’re looking for:Background in Mechanical Design or Project EngineeringCAD experience using Inventor, AutoCAD or similarExperience within manufacturing, fabrication, or machinery environmentsUnderstanding of welding (MIG/TIG)Exposure to HVAC systemsAwareness of RF or shielding concepts would be beneficialA practical, hands-on approach to engineeringQuick Eligibility Check:Must hold a UK passportAble to commute to Saffron WaldenWhat’s on offer:£40,000 to £50,000 depending on experienceOpportunity to work on varied, bespoke engineering projects across multiple sectorsInvolvement across the full project lifecycle, not just designA hands-on role with real visibility of projects being built and deliveredCollaborative working environment with close interaction across teamsStable, growing business with a strong pipeline of workOpportunity to develop both technical and project engineering skillsIf you’re looking for a role with more variety, responsibility, and involvement across the full engineering process, this could be a great opportunity to explore.Apply now!
