Data Analyst – Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences Sector

Express Recruitment is working with Verpora in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry to recruit a talented Data Analyst to join a well-established consultancy based in Nottingham.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on behalf of global drug research firms within an exciting research team.

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of up to £34,000 per annum D.O.E, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including 33 days holiday, flexible working, and a hybrid model allowing for one day of remote work per week.Skills & ExperienceProficient in data visualisation and interrogation tools including Excel (Pivot Tables, V-LOOKUPS) and Power BIKnowledge or practical experience working with SQL, SQL Server, R and PythonPrevious experience in a similar data mining or analysis position, ideally within pharmaceutical or life sciencesStrong communication skills with the ability to handle client-facing responsibilities effectivelyAnalytically minded with a natural passion for problem solving and data preparationExperience with data management tools such as Tableau Prep and Alteryx is highly desirableA qualification in advanced analytics or expertise in modelling and algorithms is preferredRoles & ResponsabilitiesPerform complex data analysis on massive datasets from various sources using key Excel functionsCreate and maintain detailed production reports and documentation including change logs and findingsIdentify and correct inaccurate or incorrect data to ensure all datasets are thoroughly cleansedLiaise directly with external clients to understand data issues and perform root cause analysisWork closely with internal and external teams to provide feedback and suggest process improvementsSupport the wider team with the implementation of new products and research projectsAbout Express RecruitmentExpress Recruitment has been offering exceptional recruitment solutions across the East Midlands since 1987, “exceeding expectations every time” of over 267,000 candidates.
