STEMaccess is recruiting an exceptional full-time private tutor for a private family in Central London.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with two bright, advanced primary-age learners in a stimulating and supportive home environment.The RoleYou will design and deliver a bespoke Maths and Science education programme tailored to two children transitioning into the UK school system.
This is not a standard tutoring role.
You will be the primary academic support for the family, combining structured curriculum work with hands-on enrichment.Responsibilities include:Bespoke lesson planning in Maths and Science, bridging international-UK curriculum differencesHands-on science experiments and projects (think kitchen chemistry, not just textbooks)\"Real-world learning\" visits
science museums, botanical gardens, university labs, and London's world-class cultural institutionsSupporting the children's confidence and curiosity as they settle into a new country and school systemRegular communication with parents on progress, goals, and next stepsApproximately 40 hours per week, with flexibility around the family's scheduleCompetitive compensation offered.
Occasional international travel may be required (travel and accommodation covered for international trips).About YouSTEM degree from a leading UK university (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or related).
Oxbridge, Imperial, UCL, or Russell Group preferred.Experience tutoring or teaching primary-age learners, particularly those who are advanced, curious, or giftedConfident, warm communicator who can build genuine rapport with children and parents alikeHighly organised and proactiveCreative and resourceful.
