NegotiableWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our client on a 12-month contract based in Colchester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation projects in a hands-on, fully on-site role.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to a high standardProduce technical documentation including manuals, test procedures, and system specificationsCollaborate with customers and internal teams, providing technical expertise and supportContribute to the development of new products and system improvementsFollow and support project timelines set by the Systems Engineering ManagerAssist with troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activitiesRequirementsStrong experience with PLC programming Proven expertise in SCADA systems and industrial automationSolid understanding of control systems and electrical integrationGood HMI skills neededExperience with CAD toolsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWhat’s on OfferCompetitive, negotiable day rateOutside IR35 engagement12-month contract with strong likelihood of extensionOpportunity to work on innovative and technically challenging projects
