Sales and Office Administrator

Encompass Marine is a trusted sales and marketing agent and the exclusive business development partner for leading international shipyards, ship repair, marine systems, spare parts, and service providers.We are recruiting a Sales and Office Administrator, based at our head office in Grimsby on a hybrid working basis. (37 hours/week, comprising 3 days per week in office, 2 days WFH) Salary band for the role is

£23,000 - £27,000 pa, depending on experience.The right candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the smooth running of operations.Responsibilities will include:Ensure the efficient running of the office for a small, dedicated team.Reception duties including answering, screening and forwarding telephone calls.

A professional, courteous and pleasant telephone manner is always essential.Maintain electronic systems including reporting and dealing with IT queries, filing of emails, updating of electronic calendars, contacts and Super Office CRM.Follow up, track, record and issue invoices.Minute taking.Organisation of exhibitions as directed.Gather and collate data and information from a variety of sources, to interpret vessel. docking and survey dates, to update and maintain our CRM.Produce monthly reports.Appointment setting, visit itineraries and producing pre visit reports for marketing trips.Make travel / hotel arrangements as required.Skills and Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a technical / marine sales or support environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in dealing with multinational customers.Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel and Super Office CRM.Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.If you are an enthusiastic and driven individual with a passion for administration, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company, with potential to develop.
