Quantity Surveyor for a Major Sports & Leisure Project (£500m)2–3 Year Fixed ContractScotland, Greater EdinburghThis is a rare opportunity to join the commercial team delivering the infrastructure package of a landmark £500m sport and leisure development, one of Scotland’s most ambitious projects of the decade.If you’re a Quantity Surveyor who thrives on complex civils, large‑scale procurement, and high‑visibility delivery, this contract gives you the platform to work on a project that will genuinely shape a region for years to come.The RoleYou’ll take commercial ownership of the infrastructure and enabling works, covering:Groundworks, utilities, drainage, roads, public realm and associated civilsProcurement strategy, tendering and contract administrationCost planning, forecasting, and value engineeringManaging subcontractor accounts and monthly valuationsChange control, risk management and reportingWorking closely with PMs, design teams, and client stakeholders to keep the package on programme and on budgetThis is a delivery‑focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys being embedded in the project, solving problems in real time, and keeping a major civils package commercially tight.What You’ll BringProven experience as a QS on large‑scale civils, infrastructure or major build projectsStrong contract knowledgeConfidence managing complex subcontractor packagesAbility to work proactively with site teams and senior stakeholdersA delivery mindset.
