Lead Commercial Lawyer, Leading Financial Services Firm

The Client:A leading financial services firm are looking for an 8+ PQE* commercial lawyer to join their legal team.

Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business.Key Responsibilities:Leading a team of lawyers, you will be responsible for the following:Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including partnership agreements, supplier agreements, vendor contracts, and customer terms and conditions.Assisting with privacy, employment and other matters as they ariseProvide assistance with maintaining the legal precedent bank; and assist with providing training to the business on new and ongoing legal and compliance issuesProvide support to the business on the onboarding of new clientsWorking in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will be an 8+ PQE* Commercial lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm, or financial services firm.Experience in the financial institution will be plus but not a strict requirementExcellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.*Candidates outside this PQE range with the prerequisite experience would be considered for this role.
