Contract – Initial 6 Months (Inside IR35)IntroductionWe are currently seeking an experienced PMO Manager to support a large-scale Digital Transformation programme for our client based in Exeter.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned PMO professional with strong stakeholder management capabilities and experience working within technology-driven environments.The successful candidate will play a key role in driving PMO governance, programme reporting, RAID management, and delivery coordination across multiple workstreams, working closely with senior stakeholders and technical teams including DevOps engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage PMO activities across ongoing digital transformation initiativesOversee governance, reporting, planning, and programme controlsManage and maintain RAID logs, ensuring risks and issues are tracked and mitigated effectivelyCoordinate cross-functional delivery activities across technical and business teamsEngage with senior stakeholders to provide clear programme visibility and status reportingSupport resource planning, dependencies, and delivery timelinesEnsure PMO best practices, standards, and processes are consistently appliedManage and mentor PMO team members where requiredRequired Experience & SkillsMinimum 5 years’ experience working within PMO functionsProven experience managing sizeable PMO teamsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience supporting large-scale Digital Transformation programmesPrevious experience working alongside technical teams, ideally DevOps engineersStrong expertise in RAID log management and programme governanceExcellent organisational and coordination skillsAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced delivery environmentsDesirableExperience within Agile or hybrid delivery environmentsFamiliarity with project delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similarPrevious experience within enterprise IT or technology transformation programmesWorking ArrangementHybrid working model – 2 days per week on-site in ExeterInitial 6-month contractInside IR35If you are an experienced PMO Manager with a strong background in digital and technology transformation programmes, we would be keen to hear from you.
