The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering OS, network, application, and security patching activities while minimizing business risk and ensuring compliance.This is a contract Role & Inside IR35Infrastructure Project Manager Contract Duration

Remote, United Kingdom (Occasional travel to London)Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage routine, emergency, and zero‑day patching across infrastructure environmentsCoordinate patching activities across server, network, security, application, and cloud teamsDefine patching schedules, maintenance windows, and deployment strategiesAssess risk, business impact, and dependencies; manage rollback and recovery plansTrack 3rd parties and vendor advisories Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (ISO, SOC2, PCI‑DSS)Monitor patch deployment progress and resolve issues or incidentsProduce patch compliance, risk, and status reports for stakeholdersRequired Skills & Experience8+ years in Infrastructure / IT Project ManagementStrong experience managing patching programs at initial stagesSolid understanding of Windows/Linux OS, virtualized environments, and networksKnowledge of ITIL, Change Management, and Release ManagementExperience with patching tools (SCCM, WSUS, Ansible, Ivanti, BigFix)Strong stakeholder, risk, and communication management skillsCandidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract.Must be eligible to live and work in the specified work location.

Some occasional travel may be required.
