Employment Solicitor/Lawyer for blended in-house/Law firm, Remote working, £60k - £80k DOE, KentMy client is a progressive and unique People services business who offer HR, Corporate and Legal services to over 1500 clients.

They are a successful and rapidly expanding business, who are part of a larger group, and are always looking for better ways to achieve success for their clients, and the firm.

They are looking to expand their already successful Employment team with an experienced employment lawyer.

The firm adopts a non-traditional approach by blending in-house expertise with legal services, fostering a strong working culture.The role:You will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of employment law including routine employment-related guidance and representation in Employment Tribunal cases and other contentious employment matters.

You will manage multiple files and clients, often leading on matters including:Employment Tribunal litigation, including preparing and responding to claims, drafting witness statements, and conducting advocacy (at least at the preliminary hearing stage)Offering day-to-day employment and HR advice to managers, HR teams, and senior executives/board members.Drafting employment contracts, policies, and related documentsProviding guidance on disciplinary issues, grievance procedures, and leading investigationsNegotiating and drafting settlement agreementsCorporate support from an employment aspectGDPR advise for employersAdvising senior executives and individualsSupport the expansion of the team and development of the Employment and HR practice.Provide support/guidance to junior members in the teamProvide training to clientsWho you are:Min of 4 + years PQE /OR equivalent experience of employment lawEmployment Tribunal experienceExperience of advocacy at preliminary hearing stageAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent relationship building skillsTechnically competentTeam playerCapable of conveying complex information clearlyBusiness focused with a consultative approachStrong sense of accountabilityIntegrity and trustworthinessIf you are looking to transition from a traditional law firm to a blended in-house/legal role and be part of their exciting growth trajectory, please contact me as follows:Jo Cokayne at or call for a confidential discussion on 0208 078 9236 (office hours) or 07925104795 (out of office hours).LR Legal is a specialist legal recruitment agency with a reputation based on trust and integrity.
