Legal Secretary (Part-time, 12-month FTC) – Banking, Governance & Corporate | LondonWe're working with a leading City of London law firm to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary on a part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting their Banking, Governance & Corporate team.With over 150 years of heritage and offices across London, Leeds, Birmingham, and Colchester, our client is a full-service firm acting for clients ranging from multi-national corporations to private individuals, charities, housing associations, and Regulators.
With around 350 employees and a growing international reach, they're known for the quality of work across Commercial/Corporate, Civil Litigation, Housing, Employment, Real Estate and Projects & Property Development.The RoleYou'll provide comprehensive secretarial support to partners and solicitors within the Banking, Governance & Corporate team, helping the department meet client expectations and deliver to the highest standard.Key ResponsibilitiesAudio and copy typing, document processing and formattingDiary management for partnersProducing bills and handling invoicesReceiving client calls, routing them or taking messagesOrganising and maintaining accurate files, both hard copy and electronicGeneral administrative support including archiving, filing, and photocopyingProviding cover and support to other secretaries across the firm during busy periodsWhat We're Looking For3–5 years' experience in a similar legal secretarial role, ideally within a corporate teamConfident touch typist with an ideal speed of 60+ wpmStrong audio and copy typing experienceAdvanced Word skills, including auto-formatting, numbering, bookmarks and track changesProven track record of co-ordinating large documents in WordCompetent across PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and internet applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectivelySelf-motivated with a proactive, professional approachThe PackageSalary
