Insurance Project Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex data migration activities within a Financial Crime transformation program.Responsibilities:Lead the planning and execution of the data migration workstream (covering extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation)Draft and own the migration runbookManage delivery against scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectivesCoordinate cross-functional teams (data, SMEs, technology, third party vendor)Drive stakeholder engagement across business, IT, and third partiesOversee data quality, reconciliation, and validation processes post-migrationFacilitate issue resolution and decision making across programme layersSupport cutover planning, deployment, and post-migration stabilisationSkills

Proven experience leading a data migration within a complex programmeStrong stakeholder management across senior business and technical audiencesData mapping and transformationData cleansing and enrichmentMigration tooling and reconciliation processesStrong project management capability across full lifecycle deliveryAbility to clearly communicate risks, dependencies, and progressExperience producing governance outputs (e.g. steering reports, RAID management, dashboards)Experience working within financial servicesOutcome-focused with strong delivery accountabilityNice to have:Knowledge of data models related to client, product, and regulatory dataExperience working with external vendors and system integratorsSkilled at navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and dependenciesExposure to large-scale entity and document migration volumes (e.g., client data, onboarding records)
