They currently work with numerous high-profile multinational companies, delivering a specialist service that requires exceptional operational and procurement support to their on-site teams.

They have built strong relationships not only with their clients but also with their suppliers, and they work diligently to maintain those relationships through strong communication, reliability, and service excellence.An exciting opportunity is available for a highly motivated and customer-focused Logistics Manager I to support a customer program with an annual spend of approximately £3.5M.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate purchasing, customer service, vendor relationships, and warehousing activities in line with company policies and contractual requirements.Work closely with customers to enhance and expand program services while building strong relationships with key managers and plant staff.Develop a strong understanding of customer operations to support and improve program delivery.Monitor program performance and prepare monthly reports covering cost, sales, service, quality, and improvement initiatives.Generate and implement value-added and cost-saving ideas to support customer objectives.

Ensure cost-saving initiatives meet or exceed annual contractual targets.Identify operational issues and recommend effective solutions and process improvements.Oversee on-site human resource management responsibilities.Train customers and employees on operational systems and processes.Resolve customer payment and billing issues efficiently.Coordinate technical support activities and vendor engagement, including new product launches and service enhancements.Investigate customer concerns and implement corrective actions.Maintain accurate inventory databases and oversee physical inventory and cycle count processes.Qualifications:3–5 years’ experience in Inventory or Storeroom ManagementCombination of education and practical experience preferredEntrepreneurial and proactive management styleStrong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to interpret technical documents and drawingsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to handle sensitive customer inquiries and complaints effectivelyValid driver’s license requiredThis is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about operational excellence and continuous improvement.
