Day by day, we support our customers' development strategies as well as their technological and sustainability transformationALTEN Ltd is looking for an Experienced Administrative IT Assistant to join our Customer Connectivity – Major Accounts department in Derby, UK.This is a fantastic chance to be part of a fast-growing company with strong core values of Excellence, Accountability, Integrity, and Service.Your new role:As part of ALTEN UK’s continued commercial and operational growth, the Experienced IT Administrative Assistant role is responsible for supporting technical and project teams by managing the administrative and operational aspects of key customer IT accounts and systems.
The position plays a key role in ensuring IT service continuity, security compliance, and a high level of service delivery to major customers.Key Responsibilities:Administrative management of ALTEN customer IT accounts and access (authorisations, permissions, application policies, testing)Day-to-day handling of service requests and incidents through ALTEN and customer systemsPreparation, maintenance, and monitoring of reporting related to IT access and security policiesCoordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and closure of requestsProvision of first-line IT support for identified customer IT accounts and systemsEffective escalation of incidents in accordance with defined proceduresContribution to preventive maintenance and fault management activitiesSupport of approved system upgrades and changes (planned and ad hoc)Ensure compliance with ALTEN and customer ICT security policies and proceduresMaintenance and reporting of hardware and software inventorySupport of Business Continuity Planning activities, including equipment management and testingCompletion of ad-hoc administrative and office support tasks as requiredWork Environment:The role operates within an international and multicultural environment, working closely with technical teams, project stakeholders, major customers, and external partners.
