Experienced Landscape Construction Project Manager

Westwind Landscape Construction is looking to hire an individual for an experienced landscape architect/project manager position. This position is unlike other landscape architect positions because at Westwind, we don’t just create plans and designs for customers but we also bring them to life. At Westwind, you would be responsible for seeing a project through all phases; inception through final construction.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Proven experience in landscape architecture, including project management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MicroStation, GIS, Sketchup, and other design software
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape construction practices, and construction techniques
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional licensure as a Landscape Architect is preferred but not required
• Experience with project estimating is a plus

Westwind offers competitive benefits to include medical (Westwind pays 80% of medical for all eligible employees), dental and vision insurance, paid time off and a 401k plan. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with some occasional weekend work required. This is an in-office position based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. For candidates out of state, we would assist with relocation costs. Potential salary range is $100,000 - $150,000.

Projects range from small landscape installations to large complex public projects that involve earthwork and grading, large irrigation systems and sports fields. Our customers include Albuquerque Public Schools, Bernalillo County, City of Albuquerque, City of Rio Rancho, Rio Rancho Public Schools and the University of New Mexico.
