The hotel features a refreshed restaurant and an all-new culinary concept, inviting guests to enjoy vibrant, locally inspired cuisine in a newly renovated setting. It’s an exciting opportunity to join the opening team and help shape a new chapter at a classic East End destination.  

ABOUT THE ROLE  

We are looking for a General Manager to join the team! As the General Manager , you will oversee all aspects of daily operations at the restaurant . You will provide leadership and str a tegic planning to a ll staff, including the bar. You will also liase with all hotel operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. In this role, you will play a key role in ensur ing guest satisfaction and obtain ing optimum efficiency and economy of operations.   

Housing is offered to support a smooth transition to the role.

Essential Duties:  

• Strong supervisory skills: ability to appropriately assign/delegate work and authority to others in the accomplishment of goals ; provide coaching, advice and assistance as required ; help employees overcome obstacles and deal with problems .    

• Hire and train employees to support successful daily operations.  

• Full P&L responsibility , including cost of goods and labor control.  

• Knowledge of safety management principles; federal and state OSHA regulations; safety, emergency, and accident policies and procedures.  

• Must be capable of performing all hourly functions and operating all equipment in the hotel.  

• Ability to use repetitive hand and body motions such as grasping, writing, typing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.  

• Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for prolonged periods of time.  

Specific Requirements of this role:  

• Review financial reports and statements to understand the property’s performance versus budget and expenses.    

• Knowledge of restaurant systems, including POS (Toast), Resy , inventory systems and more.  

• Lead the property in generation of revenue through sales and marketing efforts.  

• Coach and support the team to effectively manage occupancy and rates, wages, and controllable expenses.  

• Ensure full compliance of all DOH procedures.  

• Perform other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications  

• At least 4 years of experience as a G eneral Manager OR 5 years of restaurant operations experience in a director capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.  

• Experience with high volume bar and nightlife preferred.  

• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate a team.   

• Ability to work under pressure and in high volume settings.   

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
