  • Perform essential critical care procedures, including central line placement, hemodialysis catheter placement, arterial line placement, endotracheal intubation, chest tube placement (both medical and surgical), lumbar punctures, and bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL).
  • Continuously monitor and manage critically ill patients, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical records system.
  • Participate in patient rounds and discussions to ensure coordinated care.

• Qualifications for Success:

  • Current board certification in critical care medicine is mandatory.
  • Valid and active state medical license is required.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in critical care medicine is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience performing the listed essential critical care procedures is required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are crucial.
