Practice Setting: Hospital, inpatient and outpatient
Start Date: November 25th 7am to December 1st 7am and December 24th 7am to January 5th 7am
Schedule: 24-hour call Monday 7am to Monday 7am with rounding Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm (or last case)
Minimum coverage: No minimum
Typical procedures: 6-7 procedures per day. ERCP preferred. Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), liver biopsies, dilation, balloon endoscopy, pneumatic dilation, ablation therapy, lower GI, upper GI, colonoscopy, polyp removals, etc.
Additional Information: Endoscopic procedures required. Endoscopy system: Fuji. Anesthesia provided by CRNA and MDA. Hepatology and urgent scopes through ER coverage. EMR: Cerner. Must have KY license. New grads accepted if residency-trained in required procedures. ACLS required if requesting sedation privileges. COVID vaccination or exemption required. Support staff includes 1 NP in clinic, PA, and LPN.
