The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented and have hands-on experience and deep knowledge of accounting for both share class and partnership hedge fund structures, along with strong experience working in Advent Geneva. The candidate will work closely with colleagues in Tax, Legal, Operations, and Investor Relations and will have excellent communication skills. Additionally, the candidate will be a strong mentor to our highly capable staff and will collaborate closely with the team on complex fund accounting issues, while being able to effectively communicate the nuances of issues to the Firm’s Managing Directors and Partners.
In addition to traditional fund accounting responsibilities, the Senior Manager is expected to lead impactful projects and possess an entrepreneurial and growth mindset to improve and re-engineer existing processes through continual digital transformation initiatives. We seek a highly enthusiastic individual with strong intellectual curiosity, a desire for continual learning, and a passion for contributing to business operations enhancement.

Responsibilities
- Review fund monthly NAV closing packages, unaudited financial statements, and year-end audited financial statements and disclosures.
- Assist the Global Controller in managing the hedge fund accounting team and contribute to the team’s growth and development.
- Review investor profit and loss allocations and fund performance in accordance with fund agreements.
- Support the Investor Relations team and PARG with client reporting requests and investor questions.
- Manage the Firm’s third-party administrator to ensure timely delivery of investor statements and transparency reports.
- Prepare and review calculations for quarterly/annual filings with BEA and CIMA.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal departments during the global annual audit process.
- Review quarterly valuation models for private equity and debt investments, working with investment professionals and valuation agents.
- Contribute to the modernization of accounting processes and platforms, aiming for best practices.
Qualification Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- High proficiency in Advent Geneva.
- Professional certification (CFA, CPA, or equivalent).
