Senior Construction Project Manager

Brief on the company:

• General contractor headquartered in Norther Virginia who specialize in Design-Build, Construction General Contracting across a variety of sectors., federal work being their core.
• 20 years in operation, $40M in revenue and looking to continue to grow north of $50M. Headcount roughly 50.
• Graduated from the SBA 8(a) program and take on projects as the prime general contractor.
• The federal projects they work on are typically Design Build projects and can be renovations/modernizations, new construction or involve technical historical restorations or structural repair.
• Their projects range from $2M - $20M with the $5M-6M being a sweet spot for them but have done work up to $20M.
• Work in DC, VA, and MD with a focus on work within the beltway or at the various federal bases across the DMV region.

Senior Project Manager Position:

• Position reports into the Director of Construction but this role will be involved in senior leadership meetings on strategy and company decision making.
• Joining an existing, successful, Project Management team of X1 Snr PM, 3 PMs and a 1 APM.
• Requirements for the role include project management knowledge on federal construction projects, high preference for design-build government contracting.
